What we’re looking for:

Venatus is seeking a highly experienced senior engineer who has a very deep understanding of Javascript. We are looking for someone who is capable of developing cutting edge asynchronous client side code, highly performant and efficient.

NOTE: This is not a Front-end or UI role. Please specify in your application where you have used Javascript in non-UI contexts if any.

Responsibilities

• Build our mission critical client side code
• Novel techniques for testing and validating browser client code in a very dynamic environment
• Liaise with the back-end team interfacing the client side code with the backend systems.
• Developed automated Monitoring of exceptions and issues and performance
• Develop tools and methods to allow QA test run code in “test” mode.
  

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience developing Javascript in an engineering environment
• in-depth knowledge of Javascript as a language and the Javascript interpreter in-browser
• Ability to write well structured, highly optimized code
• Must have strong grasp of the JS event model and Asynchronous code
• Working in lean Scrum environment

Nice to Have:

• Testing frameworks like Nightwatch.js

• AdTech experience
